IE's market share declines; could reach 50 percent by 2011

After once owning more than 90% of the Web browser market, Internet Explorer could see its share fall below the 50% barrier by mid-2011, according to Web metrics watcher Net Applications. In its most recent data, Net Applications indicates IE lost another 0.7% from its market share in April, ending the month with 66.1% of the market.
