Minutes after a young girl logged on to an Internet chat room last week, the smiling face and blonde hair on her profile photo caught someone's eye.

Fellow chatters flocked to her and asked her age, gender and location. She told them she was a 12-year-old from Cleveland. The chatters kept coming but eventually moved on. They didn't know the 12-year-old was a police officer posing as a young girl...
