Kasich says reducing overhead, phasing out income tax, online education among solutions to help Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio: John Kasich, the GOP endorsed candidate running to replace Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland next year, told a small audience in Columbus Tuesday that Ohio is at a crossroads and must "lower its overhead so it can lower its prices that will change the menu to get excitement going in Ohio" again.

He talked dreamily of the time when Ohio school children could learn from online courses.
