Intel pumps millions into Japanese WiMax - Telecom News Analysis

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) opened its WiMax wallet yet again and shelled out $43 million to Japan's national WiMax operator UQ Communications Inc.
The money from Intel's investment arm, Intel Capital , will help to fund UQ's goal of covering 90 percent of the country by 2012 with the wireless broadband technology.
