Columbus-based NetJets adds high-speed Internet to 250 aircraft

Aircell LLC signed a contract with NetJets Inc. to provide it with high-speed Internet service on more than 250 of its mid-size and large-cabin aircraft.
The Itasca, Ill.-based company, with its business aviation division based in Broomfield, will begin installing the high-speed Internet infrastructure soon. The deal represents the largest order for high-speed Internet service in business aviation history, according to an Aircell press release.
