Ohio RCAP offers its first conference for community leaders

On Aug. 24, the Ohio RCAP staff at WSOS will open its first-ever conference to community leaders around Ohio.
“This is an ambitious effort, but we are excited about it,” said Deb Martin, director of The Great Lakes Rural Community Assistance Program, administered by WSOS.
The conference, slated for Aug. 24-25 at the Hilton Easton, Columbus, has secured U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, as one of its guest speakers; Dr. Ned Hill, of Cleveland State University; and has invited Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.
